This set of two amazing engravings was made in the 19th Century. The zoological Prints each show 3 different kinds of Fish. One engraving shows a Hammerhead Shark, an angelshark / monkfish and another fish which is most likely a Sturgeon. The other engraving shows depictions of a Catsharks, a basking shark and a Chimaeras - also called Ghost Shark. The steel engravings are very detailed and have the French name of each Fish printed under the depiction. The perfect gift for a Fishermen.

Published : Paris, France circa 1865

Size : each print is circa 11 x 7 1/2 inches

Condition: Very good condition with nice color and light tanning giving it a vintage look. Please see pictures.
