This rare and magnificent Cobalt blue lead crystal glass Vase was made between 1900-1915 in one of the famous Bohemian Glass Manufactories. It is of excellent craftmanship and hand cut in a beautiful pattern which reflects the light. The silver overlay is a typical Art Nouveau floral pattern. The vase has a beautiful sparkle and the decorations are cut out of the colored glass which has been applied as a covering layer over the clear crystal. After FIRING the thin Cobalt layer was cut away to reveal the clear glass beneath.
Condition: The Vase is in very good condition. One small chip on the base (is not visible when standing). Small amounts of the silver overlay are missing around the rim (barely noticeable) PLEASE SEE PICTURES
