This beautiful original drawing by the famous Painter, Sculptor and Architect Franz Brantzky is a rare find. It is one of the originals of his sketches for his famous book "Reiseskizzen" (Travel Sketches). It comes for the private collection from Brantzky and is dated and has the location on it. It shows a scene in the Marzellenstrasse in Cologne (Köln).

Franz Brantzky is best known for his sketches and drawings during his travels and even published a book about them (Reiseskizzen). He was born on January 19th 1871 in Cologne (Germany). He won several golden medals at the international art exhibits in Munich and Düsseldorf. He was also a famous architect. He designed the Eastasia Museum in Cologne, the Romefountian in Cologne, serveral Churches, the Möhne Dam and many more buildings.
