This magnificent pair of Bronze Candelabras is a perfect example of Rococo Design. They date back to the late 18th century. Featuring Elaborate Fire Gilded Bronze Details and stunning Cloisonne enamel. Incredible Decorations with Floral designs and rocailles are all over these French Candle Holders and make them perfect for a stunning Salon or Dining Table. Featured are typical Rococo designs like amazing floral leafs & rocailles. They also have the typical asymmetrical designs, curves, and gold plate of Rococo. In addition to the Gilt they also feature some remarkable Cloisonne enamel. Each Candleholder has 4 spouts for regular size candles.
Cloisonné is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects. In recent centuries, vitreous enamel has been used, and inlays of cut gemstones, glass and other materials were also used during older periods. The resulting objects can also be called cloisonné.
Condition: They have a beautiful patina and come un-restored with original enamel and gilt. The condition is very good. (please see pictures)
