This beautiful Occasional Table is a true Gem of Venetian Marquetry Craft. It was made in the area around Venice Italy and dates back to the second half of the 19th Century. It is beautifully conducted and inlaid with multiple different precious woods like Cherry, Walnut, Maple, Mahogany, Birch and Wood Veneer The Marquetry Inlays were made in a geometric pattern all around the table - including the leg. Additionally the center of the table top has a ravishing Marquetry picture of two birds. It would look stunning as Side Table or Entry Hall Stand.
Condition: In good condition. Some pieces of the veneer are missing. Age consistent wear. PLEASE SEE PICTURES
