This is an absolutely stunning French antique Sculpture of a girl is a typical work of the Art Nouveau Era. It dates back to 1900 - 1910.
The little girl wears a beautiful pearl necklace, a cute bow in her hair and a magnificent garment which is blowing in the wind. Over her head she holds a candle socket in her hand. The statuette was made out of bronzed spelter.
She is standing on a spelter base in the style of the third Rococo - very typical for the time around 1900. The two Elements of this piece - the base and the sculpture - in different colored metals and complementing styles, make it truly unique and beautiful.
Condition: In good antique condition. Some wear to the bronzed finish - goes well with the Patina. (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS)
Measurements: 17 1/2 x 10 x 10 inches (the diameter of the candle socket measures 15/16 Inch)
