This beautiful Crayon Drawing by the famous Painter, Sculptor and Architect Franz Brantzky is a very rare find. Brantzky rarely ever painted religous scenes. This is one of the rare early drawings and shows the Bible scene "Jesus on the Mount of Olives" . The drawing would look beautiful when framed in a simple frame. The Drawing has the estate stamp.

Franz Brantzky is best known for his sketches and drawings during his travels and even published a book about them (Reiseskizzen). He was born on January 19th 1871 in Cologne (Germany). He won several golden medals at the international art exhibits in Munich and Düsseldorf. He was also a famous architect. He designed the Eastasia Museum in Cologne, the Romefountian in Cologne, serveral Churches, the Möhne Dam and many more buildings.

Condition: Good condition with nice color and light tanning. Please see pictures.
