Here we have an attractive English enamel Battersea/Bilston patch/snuff box circa 1780 - 1810. The cobalt blue box is decorated on it's top and four sides with cartouches of flowers and leaves against a ground of white enamel. I believe the pictures speak for themselves so please take a look. Included with the box is a provenance card with description. Enjoy !
Condition : About as clean as one can expect a box which is over 200 years old to be. No detectable chips, cracks or repairs. The only thing I could mention is that the lid could close a little tighter, although the lid does stay closed shut.
Size : 2" (5.08 cm) Wide // 1 5/8" (4.13 cm) Deep // 1 1/8" (2.86 cm) High
