For your consideration is a nicely executed Zsolnay pottery jardiniere glazed with the lustrous iridescence for which this company is best known. The pot consists of four panels decorated with colorful passion flowers and leaves. The neck is reticulated with blood-red cutouts of thorny clovers. I know the pot dates from the second half of the 20th c., although there is little information I could find to give you a more precise date than that. Please see the pot's underside photo for marks. The quality and execution of the pot are excellent and I believe a good investment relative to the prices of the firms older pieces.
