For your game room we have a colorful 19th c. French faience wall plaque painted with elements of gambling, along with cigarettes and matches thrown in for good measure. The dark green ground gives the lighter-toned elements a sense of advancement towards the viewer, giving them a bolder, more impressive appearance. Impressed into the bottom right hand edge of the plaque, 'L M & C', for Lebeuf, Milliet & Co. probably ~ 1860 - 1880, Montereau, France. The frame is contemporary, but I feel works well the piece.

Condition : No issues to speak of.

Size : Plaque : 15 1/2" (39.37 cm) Wide X 7 3/4" (19.68 cm) Height // Overall : 18 1/2" (46.99 cm) Wide X 11" (27.94 cm) Height
