Her office contained a voudon "shrine", a table covered with candles, sequined bottles, beaded necklaces and a stone ax. The walls of her home were covered with African masks and sequined flags that bore emblems related to the voudon spirits. Of course, her own art work was displayed including oil paintings, drawings and watercolors. Delores was a very well prepared art historian and artist. In 2011 the CSUN Library had an exhibition of her works entitled "Images of Haiti: Selections from the Dolores Yonker Collection.
