These Peter Pan dolls have wire frames. Their bodies are stuffed cloth over the wire. Their stuffed cloth heads have painted eyebrows, black felt eyebrows (eyes closed), red felt lips, and brown felt hair. The arms can be posed because of their "skinny" nature of stuffed cloth over wire. They end in "mitten" hands with thumb. They each have a green felt tunic and hat with gold cord belt. The thicker light green leotard legs can be posed. They end in golden brown felt boots. The fabric has definite weak spots. These Peter Pan dolls are 12 inches tall. The arms each are between 4&5 inches long. They were found in my mother's cedar chest where they had been put away around 60 years ago. They have always been in a smoke free / pet free environment. I found baby dolls made in the same manner along side them that had a 1957 tag. My brother was born in 1952 and I was born in 1955. These were our dolls. I seriously consider them rare. Buy them soon, I don't think you will be seeing them anytime in the near future.
