This is a Delphine Bone China cup and saucer made in England from my mother's collection from the 1960s. The subject is a gorgeous bouquet of narcissus blossoms with foliage. The simple elegance of the cup mould design emphasizes the beauty of the floral decoration. The handle decoration is a rope design done in gold. The foot and rim are both trimmed in gold as is the saucer. There are a few minute rough spots on the underside of the saucer. They are probably from kiln props during firing. They are barely noticeable and are original to the piece. The factory marking consists of a banner, Delphine, under a crown. Bone is a separate word above a small rectangle with China. Made in England is underneath all. A plastic display stand is included.
