This well decorated brass hanging gong-style bell looks much like the giant bells of the Buddhist tradition. The pagoda frame is decorated with dragons as is the bell itself. The frame has cut-out designs above the feet and a decorative gate across the bottom. The bell is an inverted tulip shape with six pointed petals with two dragons and clouds etched into the brass. The wooden mallet is branded “By Sarna India”. This mallet may or may not be original to the bell, but it is certain it must be rung with a mallet strike. Measurements: Bell 3.25 inches diameter, 3.5 inches tall. Frame / stand 9.25 inches tall at the apex and 5.5 inches wide. Mallet is 7 3/8 inches long.
