Children used to spend hours imitating the adults in their lives. Here are some of the kitchen items they played with. A Betty Taplin eggbeater with red crank handle works perfectly. It measures 5 1/2 inches long and is stamped with the Betty Tamplin name and USA. There is an aluminum plate with Mother Goose Rhymes embossed around the rim. Measuring 7 1/8 inches across, there are dents, dings and scratches on this well loved item. The owner's name is scratched in the bottom. (Humpty Dumpty, Little Red Riding Hood, Cow Jumped Over The Moon, and more.). The angel food cake pan is 3 7/8 inches across and 1 1/2 inches deep. A fancy, swirl pattern muffin pan is 5 5/8 x 3 7/8 inches. The food grater is 4 5/8 x 1 7/8 inches. A 4-person place setting of "silverware" with each piece stamped with Made in U.S.A. The knife is 4 3/8 inches; fork 4 inches; spoon 3 1/2 inches. The odd ball in this grouping is a shiny handled cup marked 10.L. 2 1/8 inches across and 2 inches deep. The handle measures 1 1/4 inches vertically.
