Twelve WWI era postcards from the Parisian publishing house of brothers Etienne and Louis Antonin Neurdein. This card set is all here and most are still stapled together in the original booklet. The front of the set has a floral design framing the word Paris. Beneath this is the ND Phot. logo on the right with 12 Serie - 12 Cartes Postales on the left. The cards feature views of Paris; both horsedrawn carriages and motor vehicles (buses and trucks). The twelve views are labeled in French as follows: Vuesur Passy, prisedu Sommet de la Tour Eiffel; Vue des Sept-Ponde Saint-Gervais; Prospective du Pont Alexandre III et de l' Esplanade des Invalides vue prise du Grand Palais; L'Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile; Le Place Vendome; La Tour Saint-Jacques; Le Pont au Change et le Palais de Justice; Le Pantheon; La Tour Eiffel; Prospective du Boulevard des Italiens pris du Carrefour Drouot; La Porte et le Boulevard Saint-Denis; La Basilique du Sacre-Coeur Le Campanile. The cards are in very good condition. My guess is that they were purchased and kept as a souvenir of a cherished trip.
