These cards made me curious. They have a lined texture on the front, but not the back. The first was printed in 1908 and features a pen & ink image of Santa, arms wide, with an elf on his back. A reindeer can be seen to their right and a snow capped chimney to the left with a bright yellow moon in the sky above. It has been posted and has a message / address on the back, In the photo showing the 1908 date, the lined texture can be seen. The second card shows an older style St. Nick with his overflowing green toy bag on his back. He walks through the snow with a crude walking stick. This card has never been posted, but has a signature and 1909 handwritten on the back. The Boston, Mass, & Germany trademark logo is shown. The card is embossed overall, but look between the toy bag and St. Nick's stocking cap to see the lined texture. These are two unusual cards for your enjoyment. Corners are fairly sharp and overall conditions are very good to excellent.
