It's gift giving time. Here are two quality serving dishes manufactured in the repousse method of metal smithing. The first is a narrow, oblong tray by Arthur Court aluminum manufacturing. Christmas is the theme with a reindeer or stag family in the center foreground with fir trees in the background. The ends feature bells and french horns adorned with holly and ribbons. Pine boughs and pine cones fill in along the sides. Copyright 1993 - Arthur Court impressed in the metal. 14 1/4 inches x 7 inches. The second item is a Santa face open candy dish made by the International Silver Company which is stamped in the metal of the back. Santa's beard is beautifully curled. His mouth is open in a smile and he has a twinkle in his eye. He is silver plate and his stocking cap has a dark spot; I leave polishing up to the desecration of the new owner. Measures 8 x 6 inches.
