So stylish! A black glass orb ashtray decorated with hand painted roses. The companion cigarette box, also of black glass decorated with hand painted roses, has a lid with an oriental disc on the top. The glass is thick and of good quality. The orb ashtray has a 1.25 inch diameter opening off center, at an angle to the globe. Above the opening is an indentation 1.25 inch long for a burning cigarette to rest so the ashes drop inside. The flat foot is 1.25 inches in diameter with a worn foil label. The box measures 3 3/8 x 2.5 inches with an interior depth of 1.25 inches. The decoration is well done and tasteful. Just enough to allow the black of the glass to pop. Due to the worn label I could not identify a maker. There is a tiny flake of glass missing on the lip of the box and another from the inner lip of the underside of the lid. The orb is in great shape with mo flaws detected.
