Sold with plexiglass cover and thick cardboard backing, this 1916 Uncle Wiggily Game Board is ready for display in your collection. In this version by Howard R. Garis, players face the menacing Bad Pipsisewah, the Skillery Scallery Alligator and the Skeezicks. Along the way to Dr. Possum's House from Uncle Wiggily's Bungalow, players pass the Wibble Wobble Duck Pond, the Cluck Cluck Chicken House, the Bow Wow Dog House and Bushy Tail Squirrel's Tree. When this game board came into my possession, someone had preserved it under the 18.5 x 185 inch plexiglass. The previous owner had a hanging kit holding the plexiglass, backboard and game board together like a sandwich. I found it awkward, but will include it with your purchase. This board survives in very good condition. The corners are soft, but all the paper graphics on the board are vibrant and without flaws. There are no game pieces, nor are there any remnants of the original box. Mailed to you in a box constructed for art shipping to insure it's safe delivery to you; the collector of vintage games.
