The John Hancock Mutual Life Ins. Co. of Boston. MA. offered this 6.25 x 4.5 inch booklet about Paul Revere. Inside the cover is the portrait of Revere as painted by Gilbert Stuart. Sixteen pages are dedicated to the story of Paul Revere's involvement in the American Revolution. The back inside cover features Revere's engraving of the Landing of Troops in Boston 1768. Every page has small images from the life and work of this American hero. Published in 1930 in sepia tones, this is issue #128.
The Metropolitan Life Ins. Co. provided this booklet with Mother Goose tales recamped to teach health to children. The illustrations are by Emma Clark. Every page is covered by charming images depicting our favorite Mother Goose characters. This booklet has some water stains. The cover has a small amount of paper loss near the middle of the rib. Measuring 7 5/8 x 5.25 inches and peinted in green, brown, orange and white ink.
