This card is interesting because it bears a typed message in the German language. It is deeply embossed and features Santa smoking a pipe framed in gold and holly branches. Beneath him are the wise men and the Star of Bethlehem. They are within a thick gold frame. I believe it has been chromolithographed, but there is no notation of it. The entire card has a birch bark frame with holly leaves. The message is: "A Merry (in a blue block) Christmas (in gold letters in a white block). The font for "post card" is very fancy. The back is divided. There is a note: Christmas series no. 206. The post date is 1911. The one cent stamp is upside down. The corners are slightly soft; the card is otherwise in good shape.
