These Roseville Wincraft pieces are mid-century modern art to add to your home. The dark colored bottoms provide a dramatic base to the tan / orange curvilinear tops. The tear drop shape supports the floral decoration of tall stalks of white blossoms rising up from long ovoid leaves in dark green. Roseville Wincraft is well documented, however, photos of the bookends are difficult to find. Blue ones can be found on page 258 in "Introducing Roseville Pottery" by Mark Bassett, the 2nd edition, published by Schiffer. The bases are sturdy, measuring 4.25 x 4.25,although not square. 6.25 inches tall and 5 inches at the widest point. This pair may be a marriage as one features dark centers in the blossoms while the other does not. They are in excellent condition. There is crazing in the crystalline glaze on the bottoms only. They will be packed with loose styrofoam peanuts for shipping.
