Mutoscope is a polite name for peep show. Earl Moran's art depicting beautiful, sexy women were on display in coin operated machines and sold for military pin-ups. Offered here are two of his provocative girls. The brunette is in black short shorts with a white blouse and arms akimbo on a red background. She is saying, "Sure...show me a diamond and I'll play ball." Markings on the card are: 33369 Brown and Bigelow. St. Paul, Minn. printed in U.S.A. Earl Moran
The blonde appears on a blue background while wearing leather skullcap with flight goggles. Her attire consists of tight black shorts and yellow blouse. As she blows a kiss, she says, "Goodbye...I'm taking off now." Marked 33371 Brown & Bigelow St. Paul, Minn. Printed in U. S. A. Earl Moran. Both cards have had heavy blue paper stock affixed to the back. On one, the glue has seeped through the blue paper only.
