This is a 1940s linen postcard showing neon advertisment in Times Square in New York City. At the time, it was the largest such sign in the world. Other features on the card are the Mayfair sign, Sunkist, and the Palace. Buses and people on the street are shown. The Wrigley's Spearmint sign claims that their gum keeps the taste in tune and that it soothes the nerves. The package of Wrigley's is surrounded by colorful exotic fish while a green costumed character holds it at a jaunty angle. There is only the slightest of wear to the corners. The colors remain bright. A gem to add to your collection.
