Printed and made into a book by the Roycrofters at their own shops in East Aurora, Erie County, New York State. Wm. H. Wise and Co. Roycroft distributors New York City. This classic collection of quotes is covered in dark tooled leather over paperboard with oak leaf border surrounding the title medallion. The printed pages are punched with three holes and tied with leather thong. ( it broke today, Oct 18, 2015). There are two hand written inscriptions in the front pages. The first: To D.J. Coullie on appreciation of his friendship. R. B. McDaniel Sept. 1926. The 2nd: to Homer, in memory of Jim who held him in such high esteem and truly loved him as a friend. Thelma 1956. A photograph was taped to this page and is included. From Thelma 1959. Thelma is the widow of D.J. Coullie. He was the last surviving charter member of the Pittsburgh Advertising Club. Included Re 2 pages of memorabilia. concerning Coullie. All the pages are intact and in excellent condition. The leather thong just broke, so the holes are not affected.
