These lovely McCoy Lily Bookends from 1948 are gorgeous. They have dark green background, pale green foliage, white trumpet blossoms edged in burgundy. The stamens inside each blossom are also finished in burgundy. There are hints of yellow inside and outside each bloom. The bottoms are glazed in pale green, the backside has been left in white bisque. They are not marked, but definitely McCoy. There is overall consistent crazing as is typical with the high gloss glaze. There are no other flaws. They are documented on page 172 of The McCoy Pottery Collector's Reference & Value Guide by Hanson / Nisson / Hanson. Measurements 5.5 x 5 inches.
