This Fulper flower frog insert stands 3" high by 5" long by 4" wide. It has a handsome form, which depicts a bird perched on a log. The bird is glazed in a mustard matte glaze, with charcoal and brown touches, very nicely detailed. This bird flower frog is very well marked on the base, with an early Fulper ink stamp from circa 1909-1916, and guaranteed to be vintage Fulper, shape number 502. It is in excellent condition, with a very good restoration to a chip on his beak, and a small nick on the side edge of the log. Fulper Pottery produced a number of flower frog inserts, some more rare than others, this one is a very hard one to find and it presents very handsomely!
