This Rookwood Production potpourri jar stands 4.25" high by 3.5" in diameter. It has a nice ball form, with a small interior lid to retain the scents, and an outer lid, which is beautifully reticulated as it was intended to allow the scents to escape. The outer lid is simply, yet beautifully decorated with tiny blossoms, and reticulated like eyelet lace, very pretty. The glaze color is shaded in green over rose blush, with a semi-matte finish. It is well marked and dated 1929. This sweet potpourri jar is in mint condition, and it retains both lids, no apologies.
