This Fulper urn/vase stands 3.5" high by 10" in diameter. It has a squat form, with a wide footprint. It is glazed in a handsome combination of matte/flambe glazes. It is glazed in a flowing, fluid blu/green stormy glaze, randoming flowing over the rim and shoulders, covering an organic matte green glaze, with hints of charcoal, on the bulb portion of the urn This vase is marked on the base, and according to new research by John Kornacki, whose article was just published in the Journal of the American Art Pottery Association, this vase dates to 1909-1917.
