Past the Kasadori Pass, travelers walked along a gently downhill road to reach the post town of Nagakubo. This was a bustling junction stage with the Wada Pass to the south and the Zenkoji Road branching out form the Kisokaido Highway. In the centre of the picture is the Wada Bridge across the Yoda River, with a full moon rising in the evening sky. This print measures 9" high by 12.75" long, including the margins. It is in excellent condition, no tears, holes or stains. It bears Hiroshige's Kanji cipher, a series and a title box in Kanji script, along with the original publisher's seal, with the later publisher's cipher in the margin in red. Published c1835-1838, Print c1950
