This hard-to-find Weller Klyro set of candlesticks stand 9" high by 3" across by 3" wide. Klyro is a very pretty line from the 1920s. It has a sort of Art & Crafts styling, with an interesting, intricate reticulation on many of its forms, framed with wood-like trim, which form four feet at the base. They are rather statuesque with cornered candlestems, and cutout reticulations. Each is adorned with a simple trailing spray of blossoms, berries, trailing vines and leaves across each of the four sides. This set is glazed in a very pleasing matte blue and cream, with red blossoms, blue berries and green leaves, and piped in a deep mossy green, which is a perfect accent. They are finished to a satin matte. This set is essentially unmarked, except for a potter's mark 'K', but we guarantee them to be vintage Weller Pottery. They are in excellent restored condition, with a very good restoration to minor chips to a foot on each candlestick. The Klyro pattern has emerged as a very desirable 1920s Weller line, and this set is the belle of the ball!
