This Fulper Pottery basket stands 6.5" high by 8.5" across by 6" wide. As Fulper forms go, this is a rare and hard-to-find shape. It has a classic basket form, with a reticulated handle, with diamond and triangular cutouts, the center cutout would be perfect for holdng a small bouquet of blossoms. It is glazed in an organic Fulper glaze combination of green over rose. The green glaze has a stormy, frothy lustrous glaze effect, laced with blue, shading light and dark and loaded with character. This basket is marked with an ink stamp racetrack, dating it to circa 1909-1916. It is in factory mint condition, with the usual factory glaze bubbling, pops and pinholes, which can be seen in the photos. This very handsome basket makes a great period Arts & Crafts presentation!
