This Roseville Teasel ewer stands a mighty 18.5" high by 7.5" across to the handle by 6.5" in diameter. It is the largest form in the Teasel line. This ewer has a rather dramatic form, with an exaggerated spout, and a sweeping handle, all balanced on a narrow platform base. It is adorned with whispy Teasel sprigs, which are simply, yet elegantly stated. The ground color is a deep, rich salmon glaze, with dark green glaze over the sprigs and stems. This tall statuesque ewer is well marked, and it is shape number 890-18, the largest vessel in the Teasel line. It is in excellent condition, with a very good restoration to a very fine line in the platform base. This stunning ewer makes a screaming Art Deco presentation!
