This Brush McCoy Navarre jardiniere stands a respectable 8.25" high by 10" in diameter, a nice large, early pot. The Navarre line was produced in 1914, with an Art Nouveau motif with women and flowing drapes. Navarre line pots are pretty hard to come by. This large jardiniere has a classic broad jardiniere form on a nice pedestal base, with an ornate wavy rim and hip. This jardiniere is glazed in signature Brush Navarre colors, with rich, matte green and cream accents, in vibrant colors. This jardiniere is finished to a smooth satin matte. It is marked with its shape number 220, and well documented in the Brush references. This Navarre jardiniere is in excellent restored condition, for a tight spider line in the belly underside, or the hip area of the jardiniere. This pot was used as can be seen in the interior photo, but it has held up beautifully, with superior glaze colors on the exterior, as if it were made yesterday. This rare Brush Navarre jardiniere makes a fabulous and clean presentation!
