This is a late 19th or early 20th century cookie or candy mold. It is of soft wood, with normal signs of wear. There are three animals carved into the front, and they appear to be two sheep and one dog. The overall measurements are 16 inches long, 4 1/8 inches wide, and 3/4 inches thick. It comes with an early and somewhat worn leather string, which has been knotted at each end, making it possible to be hung from the wall. This mold is skillfully carved and much used in its day. There are no chips, cracks, or breaks. It is unsigned.
