This very fancy, seal-top spoon is diminutive, and highly decorated on the front and back handle, and on the interior bowl. It measures 4 3/4 inches long, and the bowl is 1 1/2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. There are no engravings or initials, on either of two possible places; the six-sided seal top, or the round space nearly at the base of the handle. Among the designs on the handle is a mask where the handle meets the bowl on the front. The back of the bowl is hallmarked with a Birmingham stamp, for 1809. There is a partial maker's mark, which ends in "S & Co." The condition is excellent. There are no dents or warps, no breaks, or other problems. The total weight is 9 grams.
