This beautiful, Victorian era, sterling silver teaspoon is engraved within the bowl, "Poughkeepsie, N.Y." Both front and back have a delicate gold wash over the silver, with the only exception being the mid-handle on the back, and the mid-handle border on the front. The reverse handle is engraved with the mark of Wallace Silversmiths, and is also engraved with the date, "June 16,'95." The spoon 5 7/8 inches long, and weighs 21.3 grams. The condition is excellent. There are no dents, warps, other engravings or monograms, losses of gold, or other problems.
