is now SOLDThis beautifully-made, micro-beaded handbag, purse, measures 8 1/4 inches wide, by 7 inches long. The chain is 16 inches long and adds approximately 8 inches to the overall length. The background is beige, with multiple hues of blue, gold, pink, green, and yellow beads, composing a brilliant floral motif on the front and back. The lining is a pale peach suede, with two sewn pockets. There is no mirror, however, the interior holds an acrylic comb and a few bobby pins from a bygone age. The frame is sterling silver with a gold wash. It is signed below the clasp on one side, "Sterling" and bears the maker's mark (begins with the letter "L". Engraved on the opposite side is the original owner's name, indicating that this fine item held a special place in her wardrobe. Also stamped on the frame are the numbers "636" for the model number. The condition of the beading is excellent, with no losses, tears, stains, or other problems. The interior is clean, and without stains or odors. The frame shows some loss of gold over silver along edges and places of wear. There are no dents or warps. The acorn-shaped clasp works very well.
