This sterling silver award was issued in 1902 at the Spring Century Run at the Bedford-Hicksville, NY course. The award measures 2 3/4 inches long, and 1 3/4 inches wide. It is fitted with and "C" clasp on the reverse. Around the central design of a bicycle wheel is printed, " Century Road Club Association." Black enameling defines the center spokes. The pin-back is signed, "Sterling," and "John Frick, New York." This item is in excellent condition, with no dents, warps, engravings, or other problems. It weighs 22 grams.
