This is a rather unique vintage cocktail ring containing both white and yellow 14K gold, a string of 8 graduated, channel-set square, baguette deep blue sapphires, ranging in size from 1 mm to 2 mm in width, alongside a string of 8 sparkling, channel-set, single-cut diamonds. Again, the diamonds are graduated in size and range from 1 mm to 2 mm in width. The sapphires are wrapped in yellow gold, while the diamonds and the band are white gold. The ring is size 7.5 to 7.75. It has not been sized. The setting is 20 mm long at the top of the band, and 6 mm wide. We estimate that this strikingly beautiful ring was made in the mid-20th century. The inside of the band is stamped "14K." There is also a maker's mark, which is not especially clear. It may be the initials "MA S." The overall condition is exquisite, with no dents, warps, breaks, or losses. There are no engravings. This item weighs .1 ounce.
