This glittering single strand of graduated, cut and faceted jet or black glass beads is from the early to mid-20th century. Each faceted bead has a tiny, smooth, round glass bead between it and the next faceted bead. They are nicely strung on black twine. The necklace is equipped with a silver-tone, spring-ring clasp which works very well. The faceted beads range in size from 7 mm to 15 mm. The overall length is 38 inches from one end of the clasp to the other. This necklace is in excellent condition. There are a very few minute chips in the beads which can only be seen with magnification. Overall the necklace is in excellent condition. The beads have a nice, bright lustre. There are no noticeable chips, no cracks, losses or other issues. There is no signature on this piece.
