This little hand-painted, mid 19th century Gaudy Welsh mustard jar stands 3 inches tall, and is 1 1/2 inches wide. It has a hinged, brass top, with a tiny opening for a spoon. This jar does not have a spoon with it. The base is signed simply with a series of hand-painted numbers, "3496." The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or crazing. There are no dents or breaks in the brass lid. The hinge is just fine.
