This is a collection of four varied Chinese porcelain sculptures of birds. The tallest, which looks like a crane, stands 4 3/4 inches tall. The two mid-sized birds appear to be ducks or geese, and are 2 7/8 inches and 2 5/8 inches tall. The smallest is 2 1/2 inches. Each has similar glazing: aubergine base, turquoise body, and celadon beak. The largest and the smallest are unsigned, but the two mid-size birds are each stamped with "CHINA" on the base. The smallest one has the only flaw--a repair at the neck. There are otherwise no chips, cracks, crazing, or other repairs. The four pieces of this collection are believed to all be from the early 20th century.
