This is an original, signed woodblock print by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950), one of the most renown artists of Japan. The title is "Avenue of Cherry Trees." The measurements, edge to edge, are 15 3/4 inches wide, 10 3/4 inches long. There are numerous markings (which are shown in the photos) on the left and bottom margins. There are no markings on the reverse. The condition is very good. There is a tiny hole in the paper in the top right margin. There are no tears, bends, or other holes. The color is excellent and unmarred. This item was among three other Yoshida woodblocks, all the others of which were dated with the first edition year. This is believed to be one of the earliest of this print, 1935.
