David Deuchar was born in Scotland in 1743, and died in 1808. He created engravings and etchings, primarily of peasants. This is a series of three of his etchings, measuring 2 1/2 inches by 2 3/4 inches, 3 inches by 2 7/8 inches, and 3 inches by 2 5/8 inches, from top to bottom respectively. These measurements include the narrow margins of the prints. Each is behind an individual pane of glass, which is intact, with the need for some minor reinforcement from behind. Each is in excellent condition, with no stains, tears, losses, or other problems. They all appear to be dry-mounted. The overall measurement of the frame is 14 1/4 inches by 5 5/8 inches by 5/8 inch. The top etching is signed by the artist within the print.
