Fun & fabulous, late 1930's to early 1940's Carmen Miranda figural pin & earring set in stunning green, red & clear rhinestones. From her fruit salad headpiece, gold halter top and green rhinestone studded genie pants she is sure to bring a smile to your face. A rare estate find, these pieces are usually damaged from this era but barring one tiny green rhinestone that is missing from her pants, she is in great condition. Her headdress is replete with matching green rhinestones and enamel bananas and fruit and her eyes are bright rub red rhinestones. All rhinestones are still bright, the enamel shows minor wear (use magnification) and the only spot missing is one of her fingernails. The silver tone metal is still bright and the rollover pin mechanism is in fine working order. The pin is not bent, it was made to follow the curve of her hips. The earrings are screw back style and work fine. This is a rare find, like I said especially in this condition and is going to make some collector seriously happy.
