What is it and whose is it, if you look at the signature on back it looks like Ed with conjoined vw with an underscore and a name thats unreadable starts with either a J or G about 5 to 6 letter long. Just thought this was an unusual piece. It had tons of patina on it, I cleaned it the best I could, marked and tested Sterling.
Judging by the the hinge it appears to be from early 1900's or earlier. I believe its an American name. The bowl measures 3 1/2" wide 1/2" tall, the wish bone lifts up and measures 3" tall x 1 1/4" wide, solid sterling weighs 44.2 grams, In great condition.
