This is a heavy purse for its size as it was made using tiny metal beads -gold for the background and metallic blue beads the pattern. It is closed with a mother of pearl button through a buttonhole. Mid 19th century.
It is in excellent condition but the stitches around the buttonhole are worn- no loose beading.
