The scraps are from a Victorian scrapbook dating from 1883 to 1893. The scraps depict various characters from Charles Dickens' novels including The Pickwick Papers, David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, and Nicholas Nickleby. There are 13 scraps in this lot. All the scraps have been inserted into plastic sleeves.
I examined each scrap and some have been pasted at the bottom while many are free standing. Because the paper is over 100 years old, I didn't want to attempt to lift the ones that were pasted.
Condition: The colors are still bright. I found 4 pieces that had a hat or other piece of the scrap partially missing. Mr. Pickwick's cane is missing and his hat has been taped back on.
